I am helping my friend research one of his lines. We traced him through US Naturalization records and Austrian army records to Oldřichov, Mladá Vožice, Tábor in present day Czech Republic. The original record listed the location as Woldrickow, Jung Wozitz, Thebor, Böhmen. His birth is 1840 and emigration to New York in September 1869.

I am trying to find out what records are available for Mladá Vožice and come up empty. I know there are a couple of churches there that existed before the 1800s, but wonder whether anyone knows of online or microfilm copies of them. The man went under a different name as he entered the army. His original name is something similar to Hachek and in the army his name is Wrtischka.

Can anybody offer any ideas?

As an afternote: I found what I have so far from the Austrian amy records under Wrtischka, but no records with the army marriage records. He was married somewhere between 1860 and 1865. I was hoping to find some church records.
