Have you had any success yet? If not, try this. Did his obit list a church? Look for his burial record for that church by ordering a film at familysearch.org. I have a Link(e) ancestor from Bohemia. I found Reichenberg , Böhem listed as birthplace. Not knowing if Reichenberg(Liberec) was the city or the district, I began my search with the city. Subsequently, I have literally searched every church book index in two districts in the Liberec region. I have found large Linke families in five towns and small numbers in many towns.

The five towns are: Pankratz (Jitrava), Markersdorf(Markvartice), Seifersdorf (Zibridice), Lusdorf (Ludvikov pod Smrkem), and Weisbach (Bíly Potok). Know that I was looking in an earlier timeframe (1812). Hopefully, if you can pinpoint a place in a burial record you won't have to search endlessly. Catholic Church books in Czech Republic here; https://familysearch.org/search/image/index#uri=https%3A%2F%...

Coraopolis church records here (what's available) https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&...

Unfortunely for me I found alot of Joseph Linke, but not THE ONE! So close though.
Good luck, Kari
