If you have the name of the town correctly, and there is not another of the same name, you are probably dealing with the town which is a by-word for tragedy in WW2. When Heydrich, the Nazi commander of the Prague area was assassinated in 1942 part of the reprisals taken by the Nazis was the complete elimination of the town of Lidice. All the men were rounded up and shot as were some of the sdult women. The rest were taken away, children adopted out to other (German) families and their identities erased and the actual buildings were razed to the ground so there was absaolutely no trace of the place left. Even if there were relatives still there at that time they would have been lucky to have survived and, if they were children, would probably never have known where they came from. I do not think many records survived either. All very sad - just another of the tragedies of war. If you google Lidice you will be sure to find a lot of references, could be worth your reading. However, good luck with your searches, hope you find something.
