I am trying to locate any German info on my Great Great Grandmother who emigrated to the Bothwell, Ontario Canada in 1880-1881. Family members who immigrated are the parents John Schnieder and wife Barbara and children Catherine and sons John and Peter 'Fred'rick.

Parents:
Father: John L Snider b abt 1843, d Sep 9, 1894 Euphemia Twp, Ontario. He may have been a watchmaker in Germany. His parents John Schneider and Seutzen Schneider. I do not think the parents emmigrated.

Mother: Barbara ? or Elizabeth Heck/Hoch. Different records for children use different names for mother so perhaps he was married twice.Probably married bef 1867 in Germany

Children:
Catherine Schneider b Jan 6, 1868 in Thier, Germany or Jan 1866. Married John Cartier in Bothwell, Ont in 1889

Peter 'Fred'rick Schneider b May 4, 1878 in Thier, Germany per US Naturalization papers. Married a Gertrude Whitcomb from Coldwater, Michigan in Toronto in 1900, moved to US after marriage, firstly to Coldwater, then about 1906 family and in-laws moved to Seattle.

John Schneider b about 1870 in Germany, he was Godparent to my Grandfather, no other info is known.
