I am researching the family of Michael Huempfner and Gertrude Heinz and they are apparently from the town of Parassis which is in Bavaria. I can't find a town by this name. They came to America in 1842 and since then I know many names have changed. If anyone can help me find the location of Parassis or what it is not called I would appreciate it.
