Death notice from Lokal-Anzeiger, Berlin, Germany
Auguste Hähnel, widow of building contractor Hermann Hähnel, died on June 14, 1902 in her 74th year. Survived by a niece and great niece.

Mrs. Hähnel is credited with naming the Berlin district "Friedenau," and local historians (see websites) are hoping to find persons who have any further information on her, in particular a photo or other likeness.
