Does anyone know of a city/town/village in Brandenburg that was called Grunrode (or possibly Grunrade) and where it might be located? I have information that says my 3rd great-grandfather Gottfried Zimmermann was born there, as were his wife and 6 of his 8 children. I haven't been able to find the place on maps that I've checked of Brandenburg. The information I have also indicates that Grunrode was in the county of Konigsberg/Neumark, which would put it in the part of Brandenburg that was turned over to Poland after WWII. I have been able to find Steffelde and Stettin on various maps, which was where two of his children were born (and which are now part of Poland). Thanks for any help anyone can give.
