As you said, there is a slim chance that you are still inquiring of the Schlagheck family. My family was said to have arrived in the U.S. in the early 1870's from Coesfeld and changed the spelling to Slakey. My ggrandfather was Henry and it is family "folklore" that he came with two brothers: William and Schylor. Any help would be appreciated.
