SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSorry, I am so late.....I have a John and Henry Bingaman. I have as their father John Josh Bingaman from Augusta Co VA (New River). This John was killed 1755 by American Indians. Also Henry m Mary Wylie and later came to Linclyn Co KY (1790 census)also where he died 2 Nov 1807. Christian (his son) m Jenny Proctor. Is that what you understand? The "Dutch woman" you mentioned, could she be the same person mention in the book "Follow the River" by James Thom and Mary Ingles?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get over the pond. They keep telling me this family is German. I still question if not Scot-Irish!!!

Thank you Mary Bingamon Haller (oakhill@woh.rr.com)
