HELLO,

SAW YOUR POST TO THE MESSAGE BOARDS AND

THOUGHT I WOULD THROW MY INPUT INTO THE

MIX AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN DOING GENEALOGY

SINCE AUGUST 1986 AND HAVE FOUND THAT THE

"LIECKFELDT" NAME WAS SPELLED AS IT IS HERE

IN RED. IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT THE MAJORITY OF

THE PEOPLE WITH THE NAME LIECKFELDT ARE ALL

RELATED TO EACH OTHER AND THE FAMILY HAS IT'S

ORIGIN'S IN ANKLAM COUNTY, POMMERN, GERMANY

BACK TO THE 1660'S. THE FAMILY RECORDS STARTED

IN THE CHURCH AT WUSSEKEN, GERMANY AND THEY

STARTED SPANNING OUT OVER TIME TO MANY OTHER

VILLAGES IN ANKLAM COUNTY (KREIS ANKLAM). A FEW

WENT TO THE NEIGHBORING STATE OF MECKLENBURG

AND SOME MOVED TO HAMBURG, GERMANY AND SOME

ALSO CAME TO THE UNITED STATES AS WELL.AS FOR ME,

I AM A DESCENDANT FROM THE ORIGINAL FAMILY THAT

LIVED IN WUSSEKEN, GERMANY. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT

ME IF I CAN GIVE YOU MORE DIRECTION ON THE FAMILIES

IF YOU WISH.
