The father of Jacob Sourbeer (1810-1862) of Safeharbor, Pa. was Johan (John)Sourbeer. I noticed that several people have listed Conrad Sourbeer as his father which is incorrect. I have seen 2 sources for the proper lineage. One is a family frackter from the early 1800s and the other was a family history done by a Sourbeer who was born in 1868.
