Sorry, I don't know anything about Kirchoff. My ggrandfather was Claus Mohr, born in Hamburg, Germany around 1847, lived in Chicago, IL area and died in Hanover Park, IL in 1926. His wife was Wilhelmine (Michaelsen) Mohr who was also born in Hamburg, Germany around 1843 and died on 18 Dec 1932 in Chicago, IL. They were married in 14 June 1873, I think, in Cook County, IL. Their daughter Adele or Adelaide was born in 1877 and according to what I found she died in 1904. I believe Adelaide's daughter, Edith was born in 1904. In the 1930 census under my grandfather, Rupert Smith, a Edith Baston was listed as one of the household, she was 25 at the time. I have been trying to find out who Claus Mohr's and Wilhelmine Michaelsen's parents were, any idea would be helpful.
