My great-great grandfather was Andrew Reinhardt b.1851, arrived in Baltimore 1853 (age 2). His father and mother are reportedly Johann and C/Katherine; but I have no record of John, etc. arriving here. Would seem unlikely that 2 yr old Andrew came alone but perhaps travelled with another family? I'm trying to find the connection to his father Johann and mother Katherine, his roots in Germany in order to research further back to his ancestors, but I can't seem to locate Johan and Katherine anywhere, in US or Germany; I don't have any birthdates or death dates, only my grandfather's notes that Andrew was from Hessen, and one of Andrew's own US census records that lists Wittenberg as his city of origin.
