I have an old book that was in the possession of my great grandfather, George Riemenschneider who was reported to have come to America as an indentured servent.

His father George R. the 1st died young in Germany. Some of his children stayed with his wife. Some followed George the 2nd over to America.

I am curious as to what this book is about. It has hymns and Bible verses in it.

It says on the first page:

Of course, it has many of the letters that are not on the keyboard and I have typed them in as close as possible.

My great great grandfather George Riemenschneider was born August 27, 1837 in Geiselberg, Germany, Pfalz, Bavaria and died October 13, 1880 Geiselberg, Germany. He married Eva Wiseman March 03, 1868 in Geiselberg. He was a sculpter and died of Pneumonia.
Thanks Janice
