My husband's gggrandfather, Johann Friedrich Naumann
was born abt 1834. He mar. first Wilhelmina Ernstine nee
Holker from Muhlback abt 1862, she died 21 July 1872.
He remarried 22 Sep 1873 to Amalie Auguste nee Klass
from Gunnersdorf. She died 2 Jan. 1891.

Paul Fredrick emig to USA in 1888

Johann Friedrich bequeathed money to the FreeMason Club
(BruderKette)to establish a Confirmation Trust in his name.
He visited his sons in Iowa in 1901, where he stayed for
three months, and wrote a long and very descriptive travel-
ogue. He sailed on the Hamburg Amerika ship, Pennsylvania,
on April 28, 1901 from Hamburg and arrived in New York
(Hoboken)on Friday, May 10, 1901.
