My Grandfather was the brother of your grandfather. Our USA family was in touch with your family in the early part of the century and as late as after the war. As the older generation passed the connection was lost. As far as I know your gf was the only one of the siblings to go to and stay in the UK. My gf and his siblings all came to the USA, although my gf did spend a few years at 79 Somerford St. with his brother and his family. More than likely saving money for his passage. In the UK my gf was a bootmaker. He never did this in the USA so I am assuming that he worked with his brother at his brother's trade.
I have been in touch with Carole Peerce who has done much research on your family which matches up exactly to the information that I already was in possession of.
Looking forward to your reply. You have many relatives in the US.
