Melissa,

The Chris Hansen buried in Richland Cemetery is my ggrandfather. His wife was Edith Walls. The Vern Hansen is indeed his son and my grandfather. Vern died in 1919 at Des Moine as a result of injuries sustained in World War I while in combat in France. Lucille is his secomd wife, Lucille Ballard. His first wife, and my grandmother Mable (Moses) Hansen, is also buried in Richland Cemetery.

If you go to the Jamaica Library and ask for the Hansen Scrapbook, they will know what you are talking about.

If you should discover anything, please feel free to contact me. My regular e-mail address is wvhansen@iowatelecom.net.

Thanks for your help.
