BOARDMAN – Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown, Ohio for Pauline L. Morgan, 88, who died Saturday evening at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.
Pauline was born March 20, 1924, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Paul and Cora Wellendorf Blosser, and was a lifelong area resident of Mahoning County, Ohio.
She graduated from Liberty High School and had been a secretary for Liberty Schools for 30 years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Pauline was very active in her church, serving as a Deacon and as a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Group.
She enjoyed tole painting.
Her husband, Tod Morgan, whom she married Dec. 18, 1943, died in February of 2000.
Pauline leaves her children, Thomas O. (Marianna) Morgan of Canfield, Ohio and Janice (Ernest) Krute of Conneaut Lake, Pa.; four grandchildren, Melissa (David) McDonald Amy (Brent) Emmett, Michele (Scott) Thistlewaite, and Stephen (Erin) Morgan; seven great-grandsons; and seven great-granddaughters.
She also leaves her two sisters, Virginia Trebilcock of Cleveland, Ohio and Betty Walker of Boardman, Ohio; and her aunt, Caroline Pennell of York, South Carolina.
Besides her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Blosser.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, 65 N. Broad St.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to the memorial fund of the First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44503.
