I have her death certificate. So the date comes from there and is signed by a son. I think she may have come from the same area as her husband. His name was Stefan Meskan and he was from Munice (Munitz in Germany.) His birth info follows. The death certificate (from America) states that her father was Martin Sladek and her mother was Katharina Vondersak. Both surnames are present in Munice, bit I cannot find the Veronika, Martin or Katherina in any record.
