Hi Robbie, you are very welcome. Joseph's sister Caroline married Joseph Pavlicek who was born about 1848, in Bohemia. He was a tailor. They had children: Mary, abt. 1874, Jersey City, Johanna, in 1876, Ellen, 1877, these baptised at St. Peter's in Jersey City. And last daughter Annie about 1880 in New York. They had other children as per Caroline's obituary, viz Josie (Mrs. Edgar Burchell, Minnie (Mrs. Sabin) Ethel (Mrs. Smith) and son Charles Pavlicek.
Caroline died Feb 23, 1926, buried St. Michael's Cemetery in New York, I believe in Queens.
I will attach some items for you.
So you think Joseph went back to Bohemia to bring Anna Kopriva to the US?
Do you have a document I can translate re: immigration, pass port, etc.
I'll look in Prague for Anna. I know there were jicinsky there too.
In Bohemia, Johanna's given name would have been Nepomucena.
Jean
