Thank you so much for that information. I found that Anna Kopriva b. 1866 (wife of Joseph Jicinsky) was born in Prague she was a music teacher of stringed instruments and her Father Alois Kopriva Jr. was educated at the University of Prague. Joseph brought her to the U.S. and she became a naturalized citizen in 1880.

I looked up some of the language, and I think it is some kind of travel document. I did not know about Franz Jicinsky's manner of death. If my mother knew she never said anything about it.

The H. Jicinsky was probably, Hanna Jicinsky, shortened name for Johanna.

By the way how did you find the obit on Franz Jicinsky?
