My info is family history that was written down in several family books already. I am not the keeper of either of these books since my family line now includes more names. But family records show that John and Anna Bilek Cerny were the first family to immigrate to the United States. John had three sisters and no brothers. The sisters were married and became Mares, Zid and Strouf. For some reason they came to NE and KS but Anna had a sister in KS and they stayed with her family in a dugout. Their sons made it into the Czech publication Bratrsky Vestnik which I believe came out of Chicago. All my maps are new but they family claimed to be Moravian which I noticed makes pretty tall folks and like all Czechs have attitude. If you keep reading the threads you will see addresses and about prices for info from the Czech Republic, I haven't gotten that far. Sorry that I am not more help.
