My husband's mother grew up in or near Domazlice. Her family name was Kupilik, and she said that her father was at one time the mayor of the town.

My husband's first name is Matous, which his mother indicated was an old family name, perhaps her father's given name (although we aren't sure). His mother died in the early 70s.
