Classification: Query
Surnames: von Thurn und Taxis
I purchased copies of the Letters of Nobility and Confirmation of the Letters of Nobility from the Thurn und Taxis Archive in Regensburg. They were sent to me on a CD. I had to sign an agreement that I would not place copies of them on the internet, nor sell or give copies of them to anyone else (nor make copies of them for myself). Afterwards, I wrote to the Archives and they gave me permission to have both of the documents translated from Latin into English. I got the impression that the man who wrote to me (in English) knew about my Taxis Surname Y-DNA Project.
