Another sister Ethel Elizabeth French, also a nurse, m: Clarence CORSE, children: Bobby & Diane Corse. Ethel d: 1976, CA. I got confirmation of Dorothy's b:date from the CA. Death Index and SS#. (Searching for Fred I found - VASEK, Fred B., b: 01/08/1904, TX., d: 09/30/1975, Kern, CA., SS# 567187474.) Dorothy was raised in western KS. In her fathers obit,1937, "Dorothy Mae French, Delaro, CA.(Delano?)"

Going by the known b&d dates, known name of husband of Dorothy then it really looks like the Fred Vasek in the above listing is a match. I know very little about these people. I do have information about the FRENCH line going back. And Lydia UNRUH's family were Mennonites, her father immigrated from Polish-Russia, abt. 1874. Let me know what you think.
