Hi Ken, Wow, I had forgotten about this info. I never did get a chance to get to my Center. Shortly after this, I began taking care of my granddaughter 5 days a week while my daughter and son in law worked. During that time all my work on family history for both my side and my husband's stopped. My daughter is now a stay at home mom and I'm hoping to get back into researching both our families. So I'm afraid I can't help you much. My feeling is that Makow is the same as Machover. I think if I could find documents for my husband's grandfather, that would definitely confirm that. But I have to thank you for sending this and reminding me of this info. I will keep this handy and if I do find any documents, I'll let you know.
