Hi - You mention Jozafa Pawlikowska. Would you know any more about what happened to her? I am trying to track down my boyfriends family on his fathers side and his Grandmother was Josephine Pawlikowska. She was Polish and immigrated to the US in about 1908. The date of birth i have for her is Dec 26, 1885, but I have several census sources which are definitely for Josephine and in each one her age changes as does her nationality from Polish to German to Polish. . She lived in and around Philadelphia, PA and married(?) Alfread Bowers. I found a Jozafa Pawlikowska in the Ellis Island records arriving from Hamburg in 1907.
