An ancestor’s 1910 petition for U.S. naturalization lists his birthplace as “Wola Plock, Russian Poland.” He was born in 1877.
There’s a town called Plock in modern-day Poland. There is also a Wola that is a district of Warsaw. I am not certain what location the Wola Plock on the naturalization petition refers to. I would be grateful for any insights any of you might be able to provide. Thanks!
