My great grandmother Katarzyna (Mazurek)) Jagielaszek (spelled many different ways) left Stare Oleszyce in south eastern Poland in 1910(came to Manitoba,Canada). She was born in Grodzisko Gorne in 1847 to parents Andrea Mazurek and Magdalena Majkut.

My greatgrandfather, Michael Jagielaszek was from Stare Oleszyce. He died around 1907 in Poland. My grandfather, Franciszek Jagielaszek, born 1879, immigrated to Canada in 1905.

My grandmther, Maria Marko, was born around 1879.
I am looking for living relatives in Poland.

Does anyone know if the name Jagielaszek stems from Jagiella? I am told this but have no evidence.
