As I mentioned in my 10 Jul,2011 post--There are 2 Funeral Homes in Cleveland owned by the Tomon Family. They are A J Tomon & Sons Inc. Once you determine the names of the Tomons within your own family-you may want to contact them. If you google the company name, there are two location phone numbers. On their company website it says they are family owned & operated since ~1914~ and the contact person is Michael Toman. Michael is obviousaly of a later generation. They have a company History Page-that is 'coming soon'-once up you may find some good facts about their family to compare to your own.
Golcowa is in the archdiocese of "Przemysl" in Podkakrpackie
You can write to them to request a copy of Birth records. First check the Polish Genealogical Society of America websites, as they have instructions for writing for records in Poland and possibly sample letters to follow the example of when requesting info. I have recently heard of two methods for sending money to Poland that are inexpensive and fast. One is Money Express the other is XOOM.COM I know of people who have used both successfully. You may need these methods when requesting records from State Archives--I am not sure if payment is requested from the Catholic Diocese. Good Luck!
