Speaking of Brzyska Wola and the surname Kruk, I am the daughter of Mary Sobanski Kittredge, whose parents Jacob Sobanski and Agatha Staron emigrated from BW to Hartford in1903. We have a copy of Agatha’s baptismal cert (5 feb 1885) from the Tarnawiec Church. Her father was Laurentius Staron, son of Thomas Staron and Catherine Kruk. Her mother was Anastasia Puchta, daughter of Casimir Puchta and Catherine Staron. Her husband, Jacob Sobanski, was the son of Antoni Sobanski and Malgorzata Hajdasz, who followed their children from BW to Hartford in 1910.
