Surnames: Sroka, Bis
She may have been a relation (sister) of Frank Sroka, but Frank is no relation of ours. I am looking for Klara Bis who became Sroka after she married Frank. I don't know if they married in the US or Poland, therefore I don't know what name she came to US under.

I don't know what city Frank came from and when he arrived in the US. The family story says that he lived in Passaic, NJ, and that he took in his wife's sister Josefa Bis fresh from Poland. He met a Polish man from Ohio in a bar and arranger to marry Josefa off to him. That man and Josefa are our great-grandparents.

As you can see, we are pretty far removed from the Sroka family. I was only looking for Frank and his wife to establish Josefa's relations in the US and Poland.

If you know of a great-uncle named Frank Sroka from New Jersey, then we could have a connection -- a very remote one.
