The strategy that works best is to gather everything about the married couple and children here in the States before researching in Poland. I have given you the name of the parish. I am thinking you might want to write to Poland for a birth record which would give you the names of the parents and grandparents. That would take you far enough back to order the microfilm. Question is whether to write to the church or gmina office. Polish Origins has sample letters that you can use to write to Poland if you need them.
