Hi Stasiek, May I join this bandwagon? My Czekala & Bednarz relatives lived inRuda Osowiecza. Do you know how far that is from Lomza? Also how far is Ruda from Zbojna? The organist/archivist at the church in Nowogrod sent me copies of baptismal certificates of many of my grandfather's siblings but not his or one of his other brothers who immigrated to him in Chicago, USA.
