I am searching for the ancestors of my great grandparents Josef (Jozef) CHRZAN and Maria (Marianna) POWALISZ. I believe they may have married about 1878 in Lobzenica, Poland. Their 8 children were:
(1) Pelagia born in Wyrzysk May 12, 1883,died Wyrzysk Jul12,1971.
(2) Bronislaw born Wyrzysk Sep 20, 1885, died Jul 6, 1949 in Koscierzyna.
(3) Franciszek born Wyrzysk Aug 28, 1889, died 1962.
(4) Jozef born Wyrzysk Mar 14, 1892.
(5) Maria born Wyrzysk Mar 14, 1892,died Wyrzysk Mar 3,1981.
(6) Maksymilian (Max)
(7) Helena
(8) Wiktoria

My grandfather was Bronislaw Chrzan. He lived in Koscierzyna, Poland and operated a furniture factory before WWII. His wife was Agnieszka Arndt who owned a shoe store just off the main square in Koscierzyna.
