thank you so much for trying to help me. I just spoke with my mother and, yes, he did become a citizen. I am going to go to the state house the next day I have off and get a copy. Hopefully, that will answer a lot of questions! The surname that was used in America was Drisko....However, on the census reports I'm finding it spelled serval ways. I haven't been able to find a SS form but it could be because of the spelling.
Thanks again! I will post what I find out from the Citizenship papers.
