After avoiding my real job for 4 hours this afternoon while I searched over 3800 records from Ellis Island, I concluded there was no way my great grandfather's name was William. So I phoned my mother, and sure enough his real name was Basil. Based on that and the fact that my mother says he came from Lupkow he must be the Basil Lukacsyk that you located who was born in 1886 and arrived in 1910. I think my next step is to try to search the baptism records to see if I can go back any further.

I'm stumped with his wife (Julia Kotulich) but recall seeing a last name of Terpak on her death certificate which I will attempt to relocate. Great uncle Andy did not recall ever hearing that last name.
