Karl LUKOWSKI draft card, 1920 census

Posted: 26 Aug 2006 2:14AM GMT
Classification: Query
Surnames: Lukowski, Lukawske, Wokofski, Lukavsky
I had not seen his draft registration card from WW1. Thank you for sharing the information with me.

Where did you find it?/do you find stuff like this?

I actually just found the WOKOFSKI entry today.. well yesterday now considering it's early morning, but around the time you sent it to me. Nonetheless I still greatly appreciate it, at the very least it confirms that it's a logical match. The dates/ages all match up perfectly.
One of the areas where we're very unsure is Karl's wife's name. Family tradition says her name was either Antoinette or Antoniette; Ancestry.com has it transcribed as "Athalie"; where did you find it as Athnnonia/Antonina?
Also, do you think that the Anton Lukawske listed as Karol's nearest relative on his draft registration card could be an appreviation of his wife's name, or is it most likely some other relative?

I greatly appreciate the help you've given so far and obviously anything else you have to offer. I guarantee I never would have seen his draft card otherwise.
