I'm looking for any information on Prepelica. I know that Alan's grandfather John(Jan) Prepelica came from Bratislava and the earlist that a Prepelica came over to the states was in 1891, which was Samuel. I'm also wondering what the Prepelica means or translate too.

I'm also looking at other surnames to see if there is connection to Prepelica. I've been told that there could be different spelling of the name. They are Prepelka, Prepelice, Prepelic, and Prepelika. I do know that Prepelka family lived in a village called Svinica not far from Kosice. Speaking of Kosice..Peter Prepelice was buried in the Military Cemetery.
