Dear Jerry--- My research on John Latso aka Janos Laczo is as follows: Janos born in the village of Petrocz on 4 Dec 1887 to my great grand father Janos Laczo and his 2nd wife Zsuanna Jesko. He arrived in New York city on 16 Dec 1906 via the SS Hannover from the port of Bremen, Germany. He was 5'5" ,fair complexion, with black hair and blue eyes. He was a farm laborer and claimed he was traveling to his brother's home in Tresckow,Pa. The brother of course was my grand father, Mihaly Laczo, aka Michael Latzo.I have no further info. Could this be your John Latso?
