Quirós-Martínez Family

I am developing the family tree of Quirós family from Panamá.
I need information about descendants from José Quirós Gutiérrez who went to live in Corinto, Nicaragua and Marcelina Martínez.
As far as I know, they have three children
1.Octavio Quirós Martínez who got a daughter named Rosa María.
2.Liboria Quirós Martínez who married Sr. Carvajal and got two children named Rafael Antonio y María José Carvajal Quirós.
3.José Quirós Martínez.
I even got some pictures of some of them.
I would appreciate any lead to find this relatives in Corinto.I heard that José Quirós was well known in Corinto.

supposedly the name was changed...
from what.. my family does not know,

Charles Verner Vaughan Born 1876 in Kansas

Looking for information on my gggrandfather Charles Verner Vaughan, born July 3, 1876 in Garnette, Kansas. After his father, Nathaniel J. Vaughan born 1843 in Indiana, died when Charles was 5, he and his mother Nancy, born 1840 in Illinois, moved to Philadelphia where they lived until his mother died sometime around 1895. Charles then went to Central America as a missionary. Specifically he was in Nicaragua from 1896 – 1899 and then Costa Rica from 1904 – 1909. It is in Costa Rica he meet and married Regina Brown Benson, a widow with 2 daughters. Together, Charles and Regina had a daughter Jeannette and a son Charles Jr. He then lived in Panama from 1909 – 1918 and then in Columbia from 1922 through at least 1924. His wife and two children died in the 1930’s. It is believed he remarried.

In 1918 he was a navigation instructor for the Seamans Institute in New York and in 1924 he was a Master Mariner for Choco Pacifico Mining Co. (Pacific Metals Co.). He was also an Ensign in the Navy at some point and then a reservist.

Charles’s mother Nancy had two sisters, Sarah Talbot of Oklahoma and Mary Downer of Colorado. Sarah had two daughters, Mary and Nellie and two sons Samuel and a son Edwin B. Talbot who wrote a letter on Charles behalf, which is where I got much of the above information.

I would appreciate any info that could fill some of the blanks.

Pero si no hay interes no continuaran incluyendo los registros de latinoamerica para indexar.

Por ahora solo estan disponibles el censo de mexico de 1930 y registro civil de Nicaragua.

Los microfilms no tienen indeces.

Se necesitan mas personas que leen el Espan~ol
para que hagan indices de estos registros.

Los anglos se apuntan para indices
en Ingles pq es mas facil para ellos.

My greatgrandfather was Emigdio Lola, one of his sisters was named Juanita, and there was another one named Rafaela.
Two of his daughters were named Luisa Nelly and Fanny, and son Emigdio who died in 1989 and lived near Leesburg, FL.
My greatgrandmother was Josefa Areas Obando from Leon, Nicaragua. She had three daugthers named Petrona, Norma and Margarita.
My grandfather was raised by Juanita Lola, and his name was Angel Custodio Lola Areas. He ran away from Nicaragua at the age of 14 and changed his name to Juan Jose Areas Lola.

Hello my family comes from bluefields, nicaragua and I would like to know if any existing family members are out there. My mother went back home this past summer and saw most of the selva family but the hurtado she didn't see. My grandmother is a hurtado/fletes and she passed away 7 years ago. I have a female cousin, who was born to Leonel Selva who is also deceased, I would like to find her. Hello. This is my first time posting on a board like this. I'm trying to trace a family line on my father's mother's side. My grandmother was born in Bluefields as Cora Mae Deckwa right around 1927-1928. My Great-grandmother was born in Bluefiends as well as W. Beatrice (I don't know her maiden mame) and married into the Deckwa name. Her birthdate was 26 Sep 1900.

Alex was the Minister of Foreigh Affairs from Nicaragua (1970's, early '80's). With the regime change in Nicaragua, they moved to Central America, possibly Honduros. I am looking for information regarding my great, great grandfather Ricardo Pereira. I am not sure where he was born, perhaps in El Salvador. He married Mercedes Garcia Zavala of Nicaragua. At some point he ended up in Quetzaltenango, which is where my great grandmother Dolores Pereira Garcia was born, in the 1890s. I am not sure what profession Ricardo Pereira practiced, but it may have had to do with banking.

BUT, we cannot find his birth records in Spain, nor the names of his parents and grandparents, nor the dates and places where they were born. Does anyone have any suggestions?
We have an international genealogy club (Vigil Genealogy Club) which has traced the name back to an occupational nickname in Spain in 100 AD! But Joaquin, well......
