Surnames: Ehrenreich, Reimschneider
My GG Grandmother Anna Rheimschneider (Reimschneider, Riemschneider) came from The Banat migrating to the United States in 1897. She was born 5 March 1840. Supposedly she and Mathias Ehrenreich (her husband) came from Josefsdorf according to the immigration records from Dave Dreyer. Anna married Mathias Ehrenreich (Ernrich, Ehrenreigh) (I don't know the date). I have found some data that says she was born in Billed, other that she was born in Klek. As a result, I do not know the names of her parents or any of her siblings. I did look up the name Riemschneider in Geogen and I found a large concentration came from the State of Thueringia.
I would appreciate any information on her.
I checked with the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for Naturalization Papers for her and Mathias. they do not have them. According to the 1920 census, Anna was naturalized in 1915. Since Mathias died in 1919, we do not know if he was naturalized. Beside the USCIS, I did check with some departments in Banat, Michigan where they lived; they did not have the records either.
