Grzegorz, I'm sorry for this tardy reply! When I read your message, I did not have enough information to make a connection, we are clearly talking about different generations. There are, however some coincidences in the similarity of the given names! I know that my grandfather Adam Ignacy Owsianik (born 7 SEP 1892) was not the only Adam born at about that time, and I know that his father Ignacy had a sister Elizabeth (who married a Jackiewicz). My Adam had a cousin Vincent who settled in Peconic, NY, on Long Island (his father's name was Jerzy). My Adam also had a cousin named Kazimierz (his father was Teodor) who came to the USA in 1911, and his children were Edward, Joseph, Wanda, Raymond, and Frank - this Frank was the father of twin boys, Frank and John (born 1954). Raymond is alive, age 91, and I met him for the first time last month! He told me that his father Kazimierz had a brother Benny (which in Polish would be Bronislaw).
My grandfather Adam had a brother Joseph born 1902 and a sister Rozalia born about 1899; Rozalia got relocated to someplace near Warsaw during World War II and married someone named Taranow. Joseph got sent to Siberia, but survived and returned to Owsianiki - I think he had a daughter...
That's what I have for you, bits and pieces of family! I don't know if any of what I've told you will help, but good luck, and happy hunting!
Best wishes,
-Sue-
