but the history about Stjepan II. Kotromanić does not show a daughter Maria :o( there is written only about the daughters Katharina and Elisabeth - "Eine Maßnahme in diese Richtung war die Heirat seiner Tochter Katharina (* 1336, † 1396) mit dem mächtigen Grafen Hermann I. von Cilli. Seine zweite Tochter Jelisaveta (Elisabeth) vermählte sich 1353 mit König Ludwig I. von Ungarn und Polen.":

Stjepan Tvrtko I. Kotromanić (* 1338; † 10. März 1391) from 1377 to 1391 first king of Bosnia had a sister Maria (* around 1340; † 27. April 1403 at castle Bühringen, Bad Überkingen, Germany)married with Earl Ulrich V. (X.) of Helfenstein in Swabia.so also not the one you are looking for: http://wapedia.mobi/de/Tvrtko_I.
"Erwähnenswert ist noch, dass seine Schwester Maria (* um 1340; † 27. April 1403, Burg Bühringen über Bad Überkingen) durch Vermittlung von Kaiser Karl IV. mit Graf Ulrich V. (X.) von Helfenstein in Schwaben vermählt war. Maria wird der rasche finanzielle Niedergang der Grafen von Helfenstein angelastet."

you are right, it´s not easy to clear up Maria Kotromanic...

the Marija stated in the link was the daughter of above Elisabeth (which was murdered at Zara) and she never was wife of Nicolae Alexandru ruler of Wallachia (1352-1364), so also not the right one. she was the daughter of a "Kotromanic-woman", but not by birth and married Sigismund of Luxembourg, the later german emperor: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_(HRR)
