Hello Harriett,
Long time since we emailed each other. I haven't been working on research in ages. Been too busy working and taking care of my mother who lives with us. She had two heart attacks a week apart about month ago, so no time for my searching. Hope everything is fine with you, will be going to Chicago the end of the month. My daughter is due to have my 3rd grandchild any day now, so all kinds of things going on. Will write again as soon as I can. Nice to hear from you again.

Tina

Tina,
Great to hear from you so soon! Would you mind sending me your e-mail address again as I lost it when I installed my new puter last year. I hope your mom is doing better and the rest of your family is well. Take care, Harriet

P.S. Congrats on that new grandbaby! They are a lot of fun.

After a surreal phone conversation with my estranged father, I have some more info about that particular tree. If any of this rings a bell with the other Gineris-family members, please contact me at RaindropNOLA@hotmail.com

George Gineris (I) married to Mary(?). Possibly arrived from Greece, via boat. Lived in Greek neighborhood in Chicago. Musician. Died in a bar fight when his son, George (II) was 14 years old. Circa 1930?? George Gineris (I) and Mary(?) had at least three children, Bill, Kenny and George (II).

George Gineris (II) married to Josephine "Josie" Gutierrez. Josie was from LAA. with parents from Mexico. Josie had at least one sibling, a brother - Jessie Gutierrez. George (II) and Josie lived in Southern California. They had at least four children:

1- George Gineris (III) born April 16, 1956. Still alive. I am his daughter.

2- Debbie Gineris born circa 1957. Married to "John" (last name unknown). Still alive. Truck drivers.

3- Greg Gineris born circa 1967. Died circa 2000. Kidney failure.

4- Nicholas Gineris born ??. Still alive.

George Gineris (II) and Josie moved to Houston, Texas circa 1970. George (II) died in 1985 in Texas, but was buried in California. Josie died in 1986 and is buried with George (II).

As a side-note, Josie had at least one child from a previous man. The daughter, Ida, married to "Tom" (last name unknown) with one adopted child, Christina. Ida is my father's half-sister.

If this matches anyone's history, please contact me to further build the family tree. Thanks.

My name is Tim Gineris and I have been working on the Gineris Tree for quite a while and not a person posting here either answers e-mail or has the correct e-mail address posted. I hoped that this would be a good experience for Me but it seems sour.. I just wish everyone here would visit this site more often.. for sure I am just frustrated at this... since 2000 or so I have been visiting and sending e-mails and not but one of you have a valid address and read e-mail How dissapointing
