Greek neighborhood in Chicago. Musician. Died in a bar fight when his son, George (II) was 14 years old. Circa 1930?? George Gineris (I) and Mary(?) had at least three children, Bill,
Kenny and George (II).
George Gineris (II) married to Josephine "Josie"
Gutierrez. Josie was from
LAA. with parents from Mexico. Josie had at least one sibling, a brother - Jessie
Gutierrez. George (II) and Josie lived in Southern
California. They had at least four children:
1- George Gineris (III) born April 16, 1956. Still alive. I am his daughter.
2- Debbie Gineris born circa 1957. Married to "John" (last name unknown). Still alive. Truck drivers.
3- Greg Gineris born circa 1967. Died circa 2000. Kidney failure.
4- Nicholas Gineris born ??. Still alive.
George Gineris (II) and Josie moved to
Houston,
Texas circa 1970. George (II) died in 1985 in
Texas, but was buried in
California. Josie died in 1986 and is buried with George (II).
As a side-note, Josie had at least one child from a previous man. The daughter, Ida, married to "Tom" (last name unknown) with one adopted child, Christina. Ida is my father's half-sister.
