Cautare Stiri de la doi frati Serafino MORI care a trăit în Socola, Bucium (Iasi) din anul 1903, in casa Vignali si apoi Iasi in via Golia 45, şi a avut 4 fiice (Alice, Linda, Maria şi Tanica) de către soţia sa Esterina: Alberto si Lodovico MORI şi originare din provincia Parma. Lodovico locuiau în Bucureşti în Ioseana Vitan 61 în 1910, unde a Ghitza Gheorghitza casatorit si a avut doi copii dintre care primul, într-adevăr Angiolina născut în 1910 în Bucureşti. Alberto a fost tatăl meu bunic Romeo a fost şi el în 1874, în timp ce Lodovico sa născut în 1884 şi 1870 Serafino.

Both my mother and father were born in Teleorman county. Dad was from Virtoape and mother was from Rosiori De Vede. I am trying to find others from this region of the country. Thanks, Silviu

Surname FEDELES

Looking for anyone who knows anything about surname FEDELES. Trying to make contact with one of the many Fedeles from Romania. I have information on our surname leading to minor nobility in 1500s and a town named after us in Zakarpatska Oblast, Ukraine. Reason to believe we are all one big family.

My great-grandfather was Vasil Fedeles who came from Zarich'nye (old Drugehaza or Zaricso). Could also be from Fedelesfalva. He migrated to USA in 1911 at age 19 and married Julia Pekar then Anna Gonda. He was probably Rusyn. Mother was Maria Kelemanik and siblings were Cyril, Andrej, Maria and Viera plus others.

Even if nothing sounds familiar I want to make contact with any Romanian FEDELES. Please write.

Meyer Cohen (born August 27, 1880) son of Unknown Cohen and Esther Hirsch left Roumainia about 1900-1902. First went to London, England. Met Tillie Rottenberg from Bucharest on the boat and they married. They left London to St. Johns Canada. By rail to Windsor Canada then to Detroit. Their daughter Fannie was born in St. Louis, MO in 1903 not long after they arrived. Any information appreciated. Thanks, Patti Labell
