Thank you for your response. Charles Tincu was born 1880 in Resinari, Jud Sibiu, Roumania. He came to USA in 1905. He lived in Pennsylvania in 1095. He lived Houston Texas in 1911. His naturalization was in 1920 in Texas. He married Dobra 'Dora' also born Resinari, Jud Sibiu, Roumania. They lived in Marion, Indiana and then moved to Detroit, Michigan 1930. I have heard stories of John, Mary and Anna? Charles and Dora both died young. Their youngest child 'Nick' was sent to Youngstown to live with relatives because he was only 7 and was getting into trouble without proper guidance. The middle child was John (my husbands father) and he had just married and was raising 3 children of his own. I have tried over the years to get my husbands father to talk about the pass but he was not interested. His mother's passing when he was 10 or 11 and his father's death shortly thereafter was not something he would talk about. John (my father-in-law would only say they came from the foot hills of the transylvania mountains. His brother Nick is now in his 70's but has had open heart surgery and is not in good health. He has family bibles that I am trying to get ahold of because he tells me their is alot of family history and letters from Romania but I would have to have someone translate them for me... or maybe type them into the computer and have it translate. I know Charles ran a meat packaging company with 2 other people. One of the other men stole money from the company and went back to Romania.... Thats when Charles went back to Romania... he found a bride but I don't know if he found the other man or the money. Nick still has his mind and remembers quite a few facts but he doesn't write them down for me. I don't remember hearing the name Opincars. I think the brother that moved from Detroit, settled in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, or Chicago area. I will call my husbands uncle and see if that name rings a bell with him. I will sent you more information, if I can find it. Thanks again for responding.
