I am looking for information about what used to called Obad, Hungary. My grandfather, Nicholas Eszto and his father Anton, came from Obad in 1913, but it is now part of Romania. I know that my grandfather's mother and possibly a sister stayed behine when they came to the USA.

Does anyone know when it fell under romania jurisdiction or where it's now located?

Are there any ways of tracking down perhaps graveyards to get info?
