I have found some of my records. The 1920 census list Miko Segina , age 33 living in Pa, came to USA in 1913 from ?Carniol Slovinia. Wife Terezia age 25, Usa in 1913. Son Miko Jr age 3 4/12, Anton, 1 4/12. A SSn for 'Nick' List his BD asAug 18, 1885 died March 1972 in Harrisburg, dauphin, Pa. Theresa, BD Jul,6, 1894 Died 1983 Harrisburg also. In the 1930 census , it list all the children but Nich came in 1809 and TTheresa came in 1912 0r could be 1913. Age at marriage was 29 and 21.
Living with them as a boarder is Miko Staresinic age23 and neice Veronica age 19.
I also found other siblings, catherine Bd1920, Mary !923, Anna,1925 and Victoria 1927
I have a Draft registration for Nick Segina,306 Main st, Steelton Dauphin age 57,Place of birth Gradae Austria, BD *,18,1885. Mrs Theresa Segina, Same address, Employer Bethlehem Steel Co Steelton Height, 5'6" weight 180 lbs. Blue eyes black hair complexion rudd.
A Niko Seginan came to the USA on Jan 19, 1909, app. birth year 1882 Port of depart Anterwep ship name Vaderland.It also looks like he traveled with a Miko or Miho Starsenic.
I don't know if this is your family or if you have the info already but I thought I would send it to you anyway.It is very difficult to find names. I finally found my grfa on the eelis island sight with the name Legina. I sent them a requst to change it to segina and about 6 months later they corrected it.
I have brothers or stepbrothers of my grand father as Mato, Anton, Johnor Ivan, Louis, Stephen, George? and ?Franjo.
There may have been a sister Theresa but I am not sure about that. Louis is in Chicago and Ivan is in Conn, I thinkAnton is in Hartford Ct. The rest are in Pittsburg Pa area, I also think they went back and forth to Croatia before 1890. Hope some of this info helps
