This is the information I have for my great-grandparents...
Theresa (Reza) STARESINIC
3 July 1894, Krasinc, crnomelj,(6 July 1894)
d. Apr. 1983, Steel-ton, PA
b. 18 August 1885,Krasinc, crnomelj, Slovenia
d. Mar 1972; Steel-ton, PA
...they came to America in different years and I know know much about what ship they each traveled on. I can't find either on Ellis Island.
Once in America they met and married in PA. They had six children. Three girls including my grandmother(Mary Segina) and three boys. They then lived in Steelton where my grandmother grow up living across from a public school, but walking over three miles everyday to attend a catholic school.
I know Theresa Staresinic had many brothers and sisters and I have her mother and fathers name. I DON'T have her mothers maiden name.
I have no information on Nicholas Segina except he had one or two full brothers and then his father remarried and had eight or nine more boys.
Nichlas Segina fought in the Austrian War, but I don't know where to find a record of his enlistment. Any ideas? Also, it is known that he unlike Theresa Staresinic was blond and fair skinned and had blue eyes. He was able to get fairly dark in the sun without burning though.
Any information or possible links to Nichlas Segina is welcome. Sorry I don't know anymore names on that side.
